Dyson calls the Airwrap 'effortless.' The fine print — Dyson's own — says results vary by hair type. The Coanda effect works consistently on fine to medium hair and inconsistently on thick or coarse hair. The device requires 80% dry hair before styling begins, adding 10–15 minutes before the Airwrap's primary function starts. Total routine for a competent user: 35–45 minutes. A conventional dryer and curling iron achieve comparable results in 20–25 minutes for $420 less. Read the fine print first.
